The South Essex Rose Croix sovereigns chapter, Essex Chapter No 894, met at Chingford on 6th November, 2023 with Ill. Bro. Peter Lindell as MWS. After the meeting we received a very enlightening presentation on the work of Christians Against Poverty (CAP UK) given by Andrew Whitaker, their regional director. It was staggering to hear of the level of poverty and financial distress being experience by more than 14 million people in the UK. The work they do in offering financial support and recovery from debt crisis is amazing. On behalf of the Chapter the MWS presented a cheque for £1000.00 to assist in their work. At the festive board the Inspector General matched that sum with a donation from the District of South Essex.
